Mini Dumbell Leech /Worm Rig

A pretty self-explanatory rig than can be shop built or is easily self built from easily obtainable parts. As with all dumbell style rigs, the hooklink should be shorter than the length of the dumbell to avoid tangles. Leeches are best mounted on maggot clips to avoid damage to them and allow for re-use - this is important at between £3-5 per leech!

Contrary to popular belief, standard or mini dumbells cannot be fished below surface (unless they are carefully weighted) - they just sit upright!
