Catfishing Experience 25 years
UK PB 70lb
Euro PB 140lb

Long term CCG member Trevor is perhaps most well known for his TV series Day Ticket alongside fellow group member Richard Garner.

Trevor is an 'Old Skool' catfish angler having spent his formative years catfishing on some of the  most well known of UK waters including Claydon Middle Lake and Tiddenfoot Pit. Trevor has also spent many sessions catting on the River Saone in France where he caught his personal best cat of 140lb - a cracking fish by any standards!

This is the list of tackle that Trevor uses:

Weighing & Welfare

Unhooking Mat -Fox Carpmaster Deluxe - soon to be upgraded to Nash Monster Air Cradle. I hate flat mats as cats can slither off of them. For large Euro cats 100lb+ I use a bivvy groundsheet.

Landing Net -Wychwood 50" and for bigger cats, a glove

Scales - Reuben Heaton Dial Scales  60 and 200lbs

Tripod -Homemade weigh station

Weigh Sling - Home made

Fish Retainers -Tube/Tunnel/Stringer

When asked if he used a Bait Boat, Trevor replied "I hate them!"
